Mission

  • The College was established in August 1984, and is a research-oriented academic unit. In the fast development there had been many talents from around the country and from abroad to join us for our outstanding academic and teaching environment. Our faculty actively attends national and international conferences. We have also hosted several major conferences, including the Pan-Pacific Academic Conference in May 1987, and the annual International Conference of Comparative Management (ICCM) and Securities and Financial Markets Conference (SFM), from whence our international academic reputation is established.
  • The College emphasizes on creativity, leadership, and internationalism. We believe them to be the essential qualities of the future management. In respect of internationalism, we are the first university in Taiwan to enter the Asia Pacific International Business Education Joint Association, and we began to participate in the exchange program with PACIBER since 1992, which admits talented students to study abroad for one semester. To create other international activities, we founded the Center for International Programs in 2001.

  • In addition, to be prepared for the knowledge explosion era, innovation and practical knowledge are the important points we are working on. In 2001 we activated inter-departmental courses for Master of Entrepreneurial Management Program, effectively combining industrial, governmental, and academic resources, to build a pragmatic teaching environment, and to endeavor in cultivating new talents in future generations.
